Position Overview

NVIDIA is seeking a standout Field Application Engineer (FAE) to lead the technical integration of GPU, CPU, DPU, and networking technologies into OEM storage solutions for AI datacenters. This role serves as the primary technical liaison between NVIDIA engineering and strategic storage partners. We are looking for passionate, hardworking, and creative individuals who believe in artificial intelligence as a transformative computing revolution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for integrating NVIDIA GPU, CPU, DPU, and networking solutions into OEM partner solutions.
  • Resolve complex hardware, software, and deployment challenges.
  • Serve as the technical lead for NVIDIA products, partnering closely with sales account managers to deliver high-performance AI datacenter solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer engineers, architects, and decision-makers at key enterprise AI accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and translate evolving requirements into actionable insights for product and solution development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal engineering, product, and support teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in system design or technical customer support in the switching and routing industry.
  • Deep understanding of datacenter hardware including servers, storage systems, and network devices.
  • Extensive experience debugging Ethernet or IB protocol issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments while managing multiple priorities and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications (Ways to Stand Out)

  • Experience integrating solutions into OEM platforms and supporting large-scale datacenter equipment rollouts.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, InfiniBand (IB), RDMA, RoCE, NICs, and switches.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with embedded Linux systems, APIs, and related OS environments.
  • Solid understanding of CPU architecture and storage protocols across block, file, object, and cloud environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $304,750 USD.
    • Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
