Job Summary: The RingCentral Carrier Sales Solutions Engineer is a technical pre-sales specialist responsible for partnering with Service Providers, direct sellers, and their Channel Partners. This role requires a deep understanding of the RingCentral Ecosystem, including UCaaS solutions, legacy voice, data networking, and security. Responsibilities include partner enablement, product demonstrations, co-selling, POCs, and supporting Service Provider events.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment, or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of the RingCentral Ecosystem (UCaaS, legacy voice, data networking, and security).
- Experience with SaaS solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner Enablement: General partner enablement and training.
- Product Demonstrations: Conducting remote and onsite product demonstrations.
- Co-Selling: Collaborating with sales teams to pursue opportunities.
- Prospect Network Readiness: Assessing and preparing prospects for partnerships.
- Proof of Concepts (POCs): Validating solutions through POCs.
- Business Development: Aligning with key Carrier and Channel Partners.
- Support & Collaboration: Supporting SE collaborative teams, managing customer feature requests, and documenting for the product team.
- Lab Testing: Conducting lab testing of RingCentral applications and products.
- Continuous Learning: Continued education on the platform and underlying technologies.
- Event Support: Supporting Service Provider’s related internal and customer-facing events.
- Competitive Analysis: Keeping up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.
- Technical Presentations: Participating in advanced technical presentations for customers and prospects.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Representing RingCentral as a SME for products and technologies.
- Conference Participation: Attending conferences, industry events, and sales events.
