As Kin expands its Agency division, we are looking for a licensed Insurance Sales Agent to support our Independent brokerage. This role is critical in driving business growth by connecting with clients and promoting a diverse range of insurance products from A-rated carriers. You will consult with clients on home, auto, umbrella, and flood insurance needs. This position involves working with qualified leads generated by our Marketing team, eliminating the need for cold calling. You will also be responsible for developing optimal policies and creating customized quotes to ensure exceptional customer service.

A Day in the Life

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, and text to understand their insurance needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Clearly communicate the features and benefits of various insurance carrier products, addressing all customer inquiries.
  • Focus on company-provided leads to maximize sales potential and conversion rates.
  • Consistently follow up with prospects through multiple channels to drive sales.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by utilizing persuasive sales techniques and actively seeking new business.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and customer service representatives to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate customer interaction and sales activity records in the CRM system.
  • Build custom policies for customers using internal tools and systems.
  • Educate customers on home insurance details for their understanding.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage setting.
  • Experience selling with multiple carriers across multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry).
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a commitment to achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Call/Contact Center experience (Brokerage experience preferred).

  • Bilingual ability (Spanish preferred).
