Candidates must possess a 4-year college degree and 1-3 years of SaaS sales development experience, including cold outreach and lead qualification. Prior experience with emerging brands is preferred, as is professional experience in a customer-focused, performance-driven, high-growth, fast-paced sales, service, or marketing team. Experience with or interest in CPG or selling an innovative/niche tool is also desired, along with strong interpersonal skills for professional interaction and excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
The Sales Development Representative will manage, develop, and grow qualified lead volume and sales pipeline for the Emerging Brands team. Key responsibilities include qualifying inbound inquiries to determine sales readiness, conducting outbound prospecting via email, social media, and phone to schedule initial meetings for sales representatives, and supporting in-person and virtual events through pre- and post-event outreach. The role involves continuous learning to become an industry and NielsenIQ solutions expert, effectively pitching products and solutions, responding to and qualifying inbound inquiries promptly, and conducting outbound prospecting activities. Additionally, the SDR will develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly activity cadence plans, meet and exceed key performance metrics, maintain accurate CRM records, and build relationships with sales team members to nurture leads.
