Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a prospecting role and a university degree from an accredited institution. Strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills in both German (native level) and English are required, along with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. A good understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement is necessary, along with the ability to make formal and informal presentations. Strong PC skills are required, and knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
The Sales Development Representative will generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management to qualify and market Snowflake's solutions. They will work directly with marketing to discover opportunities from leads and set appointments, using strong selling and influencing skills. The role involves understanding the Snowflake Database to provide high-level introductions, leveraging taught sales techniques, logging and tracking outbound activity, and working closely with Sales Directors. Attendance at sales meetings, vendor training, and local trade shows is also required to stay current with technology.
