Requirements

  • More than one year of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in solutions or technology sales
  • Strong willingness to work in technology sales and strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service and phone communication skills, including good listening and verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, quota-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by qualifying interesting leads from marketing sources (webinars, trials, quote or demo requests), primarily by phone and email
  • Take ownership of all leads to qualify them for Lightspeed's internal sales team
  • Create an excellent first impression for potential and existing customers by providing a world-class experience
  • Verify customer needs to determine if Lightspeed solutions are a fit
  • Manage multiple lead sources, including inbound calls, emails, chats, and referrals at all times
  • Manage the existing customer database using Salesforce to ensure all communications are recorded and cataloged
  • Work with the New Markets Manager to develop new strategies to expand the sales network and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Assume other tasks and responsibilities as defined by management
