The Field Marketing Manager will work closely with the Japan Marketing Director to define strategy and execute detailed marketing plans aligned with sales, partners, and other business initiatives. The primary goal is to accelerate lead and customer sales cycles through various marketing channels and tactics, including Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, conferences, industry events, targeted field events, and webinars. The role also includes accelerating channel marketing activities.

Requirements

  • B-to-B marketing experience
  • Experience in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry
  • Proven field marketing experience supporting sales teams and channel partners
  • Ability to translate sales goals into a reliable marketing plan
  • Skills in digital marketing and related online engagement (e.g., progressive profiling, lead nurturing)
  • Budget management and forecasting skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work with sales organizations, corporate marketing, colleagues, and channel teams
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain all programs on schedule
  • Experience participating in sales call reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
  • Experience managing and negotiating vendor contracts
  • Experience tracking and measuring marketing events, programs, and metrics
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, and execute marketing programs, campaigns, and events to generate demand and accelerate pipelines.
  • Develop and execute a 6-month continuous field marketing plan focused on achieving or exceeding pipeline goals.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to measure the total addressable market engaged and apply various programs to increase marketing engagement across the region.
  • Develop marketing plans to build relationships with senior executives to generate opportunities and influence deal growth.
  • Drive Account-Based Marketing (ABM) aligned with sales target accounts.
  • Create, build, and execute field events, ranging from technical demos to executive-level roundtable meetings.
  • Track program results, measure program success, and report status through Salesforce.
  • Manage program budgets.
  • Collaborate across all marketing departments (product marketing, corporate marketing, channel marketing) to implement field programs.
