A minimum of 3 years of sales experience is required, along with the ability to interact with all levels of staff at customer locations and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships. Experience in sourcing, sales, and closing new business, along with an understanding of skilled nursing facilities, hospice, home care, or similar industries, is necessary. A valid driver's license is also required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, is expected, with Salesforce experience being a plus. The role demands strong independent work capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities, alongside analytical and critical thinking skills.
The Regional Business Manager will engage with existing and prospective customers to offer behavioral health solutions, overseeing operations for their assigned region(s). This role involves maintaining strong relationships with facilities, serving as the primary point of contact, and taking proactive measures to manage and nurture key relationships. Primary goals include maintaining existing business, acquiring new business, and improving low-performing facilities by managing operations. Responsibilities include routinely visiting facilities, establishing relationships with stakeholders, identifying opportunities to expand services, addressing negative trends and clinical service delivery issues, and responding immediately to facility requests and concerns. The manager will provide field support to the clinical team, ensure referrals and related processes function as designed, monitor activity to meet facility needs, and grow facility caseloads. They will interface with facility administrators and directors, respond to urgent calls, facilitate problem-solving, and escalate issues as appropriate. Collaboration with regional business development staff to support new business development and achieve regional goals is essential. The role also involves supporting regional marketing strategy, coordinating new facility contracts, expanding services in existing accounts, and developing plans to manage under-performing facilities. Networking within the long-term care and mental health sectors to generate new business is also a key responsibility.
