Candidates should have a University/College degree or equivalent experience and over 7 years of channel sales experience in a software/SaaS B2B environment with a proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement. A strategic thinker and hunter mentality with initiative, hands-on problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to generate ideas and solutions is required. Experience in new partner development and with decision-makers within current channel relationships is necessary, along with the ability to communicate with partners at all levels. Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills are essential, and the ability to travel up to 50% is expected.
The Regional Alliances Manager will focus on customer expansion by growing module adoption within the existing install base through VAR/Reseller, Technology Alliances, and GSI partner channels. Responsibilities include identifying, recruiting, and collaborating with partners on engagement, launches, and enablement, including sales, product, and support trainings. The role involves coordinating with Channel Sales Engineers on technical enablement strategies, supporting engagement between internal and partner sales/technical teams, and strategizing with field marketing on marketing programs and events. Developing a business plan to achieve revenue targets and maintaining knowledge of the industry, territory, partners, and competitive landscape are key duties. The manager must also maintain thorough knowledge of CrowdStrike products, sales strategies, value proposition, and competition.
