Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Partner Success within a SaaS environment. They should have experience supporting indirect customer relationships through channels such as resellers, marketplaces, or Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Strong process-building skills and the ability to establish new workflows and systems are essential, along with comfort in owning customer relationships end-to-end, even when delivery is facilitated by partners.
As a Partner Customer Success Manager, the role involves owning the post-sales relationship for indirect customers, supporting a book of business sold through Vanta’s reseller and partner channels. The individual will drive product adoption, value realization, and long-term retention through partner-delivered implementations and enablement, acting as a strategic liaison between Vanta’s Customer Success and Partner teams to ensure alignment and accountability. They will collaborate with Partner Managers to develop shared success plans for key accounts, build and iterate on internal processes and documentation, and identify gaps in the post-sales partner experience. Furthermore, the role requires influencing the product roadmap and customer experience by advocating for partner-specific needs, delivering insights and reporting, and ultimately helping keep customers moving toward their goals and successful.
