Requirements

  • Degree qualified to minimum 2.2 in a Business, Economics or Business Management based subject
  • Background in Business or Economics with an interest in products and the technical aspect of projects

Responsibilities

  • Collating updates and information from all areas of the business at all levels to plan next steps on projects
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in existing metrics and processes for project planning
  • Identifying and locating project kit at UK sites, travelling to physical locations as necessary
  • Preparing a “how to” guide on the documentation suite required for contracts
  • Updating project plans
  • Preparing costs for work with engineers to present to senior management
  • Updating Risk Registers
  • Working with Project Control teams across assessment, manufacturing, and development phases of the missile lifecycle
  • Building networks across the business, including Project Managers, Commercial, Manufacturing, Technical, and Engineering teams, as well as Ministry of Defence and customers
  • In Agile teams: adopting iterative approach, working in sprints, utilising Agile Software technology, applying Scrum Master techniques, and collaborating with teams and customers for adaptive solutions to complex problems
