Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 15 years of project or program management experience, with a minimum of 8 years in leadership positions. Deep experience within the fintech, banking, or technology sectors is essential, along with a proven history of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in high-growth or regulated industries. Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills are required, and while not mandatory, PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certifications are preferred. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, with an MBA or relevant advanced degree considered a plus. Experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Asana, and Monday is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The SVP of Project Management will be responsible for building and leading a centralized Project Management Office (PMO) capable of supporting both agile and traditional delivery models within a fast-paced fintech environment. This role ensures all projects align with company objectives, product roadmaps, regulatory mandates, and business priorities. Key duties include partnering with Product, Engineering, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Analytics teams to foster alignment and accountability, forecasting and allocating resources, managing project budgets, and optimizing the deployment of internal and external teams. The SVP will also lead organizational change initiatives related to project implementation, new systems or processes, and operational scaling.
