Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical degree, along with prior experience in field or service engineering.

Responsibilities

The Product Support Service Engineer will monitor product performance to reduce warranty costs and meet customer needs, identify problems, investigate causes, establish priorities for resolution, define problems in terms of observed symptoms, research available data, and develop plans for fixing problems including validation. They will also initiate action for product improvement through PIP/PSP warranty program preparation, prepare and distribute technical publications, provide input to NPI teams, identify pilot machines needed, assess rework, support dealer personnel, marketing units, and design engineers, and respond to customer and employee questions regarding product performance.
