Engineer II, Field Service

Candidates should possess a two-year technical degree preferred, along with at least two years of experience with mechanical maintenance procedures involving heavy duty gas turbines or centrifugal compressors. Completion of Turbomachinery Product Services product line training is required. Functional/Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Teamworking skills are essential.
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will perform installation and/or maintenance activities of HGT or CECO equipment in the field at customer sites, coordinate and oversee work at the field site, provide instructions to the crew, conduct minor/major maintenance, be the primary contact for customer coordination, maintain records of activities, follow safety procedures, and execute required responsibilities safely. You will also conduct troubleshooting on equipment, perform other related duties as required, and adhere to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).
