Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate degree from technical school is preferred, and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record are required. A minimum of one year of customer service experience and at least one year of experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and equipment testing is desired.
The Field Service Engineer will handle various aspects of field service support and customer relationships within the Laboratory Equipment (LE) division, providing sophisticated services on laboratory equipment such as repair, installation, and maintenance of items like temperature monitoring systems, incubators, centrifuges, and refrigerators. They will directly work with customers to schedule visits, address concerns, and resolve problems, complete learning assignments, and maintain spare part inventory. Additionally, the FSE will travel approximately 10% overnight to service customers and participate in training programs, utilizing a Company vehicle for daily travel.
