Requirements

The Payroll Implementation Manager must have experience overseeing the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems. They should be skilled in leading and managing the full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer, proper system configuration, and seamless transitions. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, guiding clients through setup and migration, and offering ongoing support and training are essential. Experience with project setup, including organizing kick-off meetings and delivering implementations, is required. The role necessitates creating, maintaining, and managing project plans for successful client roll-outs, supporting project review calls, and managing changes to scope and delivery schedules. Defining and setting up agreed client payroll processes, establishing payroll and data requirements, and managing client payroll calendars timely and effectively are key. Maintaining detailed project documentation, including plans, status reports, and process documentation, is crucial. Experience defining, agreeing, and configuring interfaces, reports, and system configurations for parallel and live payroll is necessary. The ability to work with clients for project sign-off, document client-specific needs and processes, and ensure validation and confirmation on project implementation is required. Generating reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data, and mapping GL reports if required, are also necessary qualifications.

Responsibilities

Maintaining detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation, will be a key duty. The role involves defining, agreeing, and configuring all interfaces, reports, and systems configurations to successfully deliver parallel and live payroll. The manager will work with the client to sign off on the project, document all client-specific needs and processes, and ensure validation and confirmation on the project implementation. Finally, they will be responsible for generating reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data and map GL reports if required.
