Advanced proficiency in payroll platforms such as ADP or Workday, HRIS systems, Excel, and Google Workspace is required, along with deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll regulations including FLSA, wage and hour laws, and tax compliance.
The Payroll Manager will oversee end-to-end payroll operations for a fully remote workforce, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role involves leading the payroll team, supporting internal and external audits, ensuring SOX compliance, and developing scalable, well-documented payroll processes and controls. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing payroll reports, reconciling payroll accounts, acting as the primary escalation point for payroll issues, and partnering with Finance, Accounting, HR, and Legal to drive continuous process improvements and support company growth.
