Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a role demonstrating troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, along with at least 1 year of customer service experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, proven ability to work independently and manage a project plan, and a passion for process improvement are required. Experience with retirement plans or payroll providers, a general understanding of industry regulations, a desire for learning new programs and systems, a strong focus on quality, and strong PC skills including G-Suite experience are also necessary. The ability to adapt to various client systems, troubleshoot software issues, and adapt to change is essential.

Responsibilities

The Payroll Connections Specialist will be the main point of contact for clients, responsible for helping them establish technical integrations with over 100 payroll providers. They will develop an in-depth understanding of payroll provider systems, interrogate incoming payroll data for accuracy and completeness, and use problem-solving skills to navigate technical issues impacting data flow. The specialist will evaluate data discrepancies, make appropriate adjustments, and assist in drafting procedures detailing the flow of payroll-related information while demonstrating an understanding of relevant regulations. They will also investigate technology issues, identify root causes, work with various departments to implement solutions, guide clients through data analysis and transmission efforts, communicate professionally with clients, and identify areas for process improvement while assisting in leading projects.
