Candidates should have typically 6-10+ years of selling experience at the end-user account or partner level, with experience selling to partners in a complex environment. Strong technology acumen, including a thorough awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy, is essential.
The Partner Business Manager will develop a deep understanding of partner priorities and transformation journeys, positioning HPE solutions to support them. They will drive partner preference for HPE solutions, acting as a trusted advisor on market trends and collaborating to win in the marketplace. Responsibilities include building executive-level relationships, influencing partner resources to sell HPE solutions, achieving business metrics like Storage and aaS Indirect order targets, and formulating strategies to retain and develop partners. The role involves acquiring competitive partners through evangelism and engagement, driving aaS selling transformations, developing joint go-to-market (JGTM) initiatives, and fostering collaborative selling. Additionally, the manager will champion strategic initiatives to grow SMB and Commercial business, drive demand generation activities, build and review quarterly business plans with top partners, create pull marketing campaigns, manage forecasting and pipeline, and coach partner teams on sales and enablement programs.
