Candidates should possess a University or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with typically 6-10+ years of selling experience at the end-user account or partner level. Experience selling to partners in a complex environment and thorough awareness of current technology trends and related HPE strategy are required.
The Partner Business Manager will develop a deep understanding of partner priorities and transformation journeys, positioning HPE solutions to support these journeys and driving partner preference for HPE offerings. Responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor on market trends, building executive-level relationships to grow HPE's share of wallet, influencing partner resources to sell HPE solutions, and achieving key business metrics such as Storage and aaS Indirect order targets. The role involves formulating strategies to retain and develop partners, acquiring competitive partners through various initiatives, and developing Joint Go-To-Market (JGTM) initiatives focused on Storage and aaS. Additionally, the Partner Business Manager will collaborate with business units, marketing, and presales teams, drive demand generation activities, build and review quarterly business plans with top partners, manage forecasting and pipeline, and coach partner teams on sales and enablement programs.
