Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales or Applications Engineering, with prior experience in direct and/or distributor sales of Automation products such as Controllers, PLCs, Motors, Actuators, Cylinders, Drives, Sensors, Regulators, and/or Robotics. Applicants must be able to serve general Industrial clients and work effectively from a home office with occasional travel as needed.
The Sales Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, ensuring products are specified to maximize revenue and margin results. They will maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of the company's products and applications, monitor competitive activity, and proactively communicate changes to management. The role involves obtaining specifications, developing response strategies, assisting in strategic planning, providing product training, motivating distributors, and supporting cross-divisional product efforts.
