Position Overview

This role is within the Sales Force job family, specifically for the EPD Established Pharma division, located remotely in China. The primary focus is on pharmaceutical product promotion and sales within a designated region.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Activities:

  • Sales Calls: Ensure 4.5 days of normal sales calls per week.
  • Call Volume: Achieve a minimum of 12 face-to-face effective calls per day.
  • Client Coverage: Ensure correct coverage and frequency for A and B level clients.

VIP Engagement:

  • Conduct at least one visit per month to key hospital personnel (e.g., hospital directors, pharmacy department heads, pharmacy committee members, key opinion leaders) within the assigned territory to gain maximum support.

Product Promotion:

  • Conduct at least one product presentation meeting per week to enhance physician understanding of products.

Performance & Territory Management:

  • Planning: Develop monthly plans for the assigned territory based on company targets and track progress weekly to achieve goals.
  • Territory Planning: Strategically plan and manage hospitals within the assigned territory.
  • Client Information: Regularly update departmental information for clients within the territory.
  • Business Development: Expand business within the territory through meticulous cultivation.

Financial Management:

  • Budgeting: Submit expense pre-applications for market activities based on the budget provided by the regional manager.
  • Expense Reporting: Submit expense reports to the District Manager (DM) within 3 weeks of incurring expenses after approval.

Product Management:

  • Product Strategy: Develop monthly product development plans and key product development plans, especially for new products, in alignment with strategies from product managers in the marketing department.

Product Knowledge & Skills:

  • Training: Participate in weekly team meetings for product knowledge sessions.
  • Assessment: Regularly take product knowledge tests, which will be used for performance evaluation.
  • Sales Techniques: Effectively apply learned sales techniques in the field to improve the efficiency of sales calls.

Work Hours:

  • Ensure 8 hours of effective sales work within the territory daily.
  • Be available and reachable by phone between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM daily (company provides communication and transportation subsidies).

Reporting:

  • Manage and submit reports as required.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Role Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical product promotion.

Language Skills:

  • Basic English proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with using web browsers for online browsing.

Travel:

  • Willing to undertake business travel as required by the company.

Certifications:

  • RDPAC certificate is required.
