About the Team

The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams.

What You’ll Do

  • Join the US SMB & Growth travel team at Airwallex and help articulate how our product suite addresses pain points in the travel industry, from managing cross-border payments to mitigating currency fluctuations.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close with travel businesses, navigating complex buying scenarios and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Identify high-potential travel clients through targeted outreach, attending industry events, and strategic networking to build a robust pipeline.
  • Build strong relationships and close deals with key travel businesses, solidifying Airwallex's position as a major player in the travel payments industry.
  • Identify and explore new sub-verticals within the industry, uncovering fresh opportunities for Airwallex's growth.
  • Ensure clients fully leverage our platform capabilities to maximize value and drive strong retention.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams.
