Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional experience in a business-to-business environment. An MBA, international business or marketing background, and a STEM degree are preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, executive presentation experience, fluency in English, and the ability to work in a global matrixed organization are essential. A solid business acumen, strong financial understanding, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a global mindset are also required. Experience with a wide range of marketing tools, including strategic and tactical product marketing capabilities, is necessary.
The Marketing Director will lead the Petrochemicals market segment team to develop value propositions, drive innovation, and deliver topline growth and margin expansion. Responsibilities include managing and developing the team, creating global market segment strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing plans for products and programs. The role involves gathering customer feedback for innovation, managing the innovation pipeline, and leading new product launches. Additionally, the Marketing Director will execute activities related to managing the existing offering portfolio, raw material strategies, productivity enhancements, and supply chain assurance. This includes ensuring accurate product representation, managing product lifecycle issues with Product Line Management, spearheading case studies and promotional activities, leveraging cross-functional groups for customer needs and technology capabilities, tracking performance metrics, and engaging in industry associations to establish thought leadership.
