Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in a field such as Economics, Statistics, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analysis. They should have proficiency in SQL, R, and Python, along with experience using BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI. Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Google BigQuery or Azure is preferred, and experience with Customer Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, and Customer Profiling Analytics is a plus. Strong knowledge of customer data models, including first-party data strategy and CRM data structures, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Lead Data Analyst will develop strategic analyses to uncover insights, synthesizing data from various sources to create cohesive and actionable stories. They will define analytical priorities, delegate analysis work, and maintain overall responsibility for the quality of analytical output. This role involves proactively evaluating analytical processes and seeking improvements for data-driven decision making. The analyst will deliver analysis and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, contributing to mid- and long-term strategy through test designs and presenting findings to stakeholders. They will also support ad hoc requests for analytics and reporting, provide training to business stakeholders on self-service tools like Intera and PowerBI, and act as a coach/mentor for junior analysts, disseminating best practices and managing a direct report if applicable.
