Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in media intelligence, communications measurement, or PR analytics, with a proven track record of leading client-facing insight or analytics teams. Strong commercial acumen and experience in driving revenue or productizing services are essential, as is the ability to distill complex data into actionable client insights. Familiarity with measurement tools, industry frameworks, and competitor offerings, along with experience in a SaaS, startup, or agency environment, is also required. A passion for strategic communications, reputation management, and data-driven storytelling is highly valued.

Responsibilities

The Director of Insight & Consultancy will own the commercial growth and revenue targets for insight services in the US, including forecasting and upsell strategies. This role involves defining and refining methodologies, service tiers, and deliverables, and partnering with Sales on RFPs, pitches, and client meetings. The Director will act as an executive sponsor for key insight accounts, lead delivery for enterprise clients, and present to senior management and C-suite executives. Responsibilities also include developing scalable tools and playbooks with Production and Product teams, representing Muck Rack at client meetings and industry events, and building and leading the US-based insight & measurement consultancy team.
