Lead Project Manager - Remote
ExpediaFull Time
Expert & Leadership (9+ years)
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, implementation, or similar execution-focused roles. A proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment is required, along with strong organizational and communication skills to influence without authority and keep teams on track. A pragmatic, results-driven mindset is essential, along with comfort working in ambiguity and designing project management systems to bring clarity. Experience working directly with senior leaders and operational teams to build capabilities and sustain change is necessary, as is a bias for action, detail-orientation, and motivation by impact. Familiarity with modern PM tools such as Jira and Coda is a plus.
The Implementation Manager will lead the planning and execution of critical, cross-functional projects that enable company growth and scale. They will develop clear project scopes, timelines, milestones, and accountability frameworks, and create structure in ambiguous spaces by establishing clear workplans and governance structures. Responsibilities include facilitating effective communication and coordination across teams, tracking, reporting, and escalating risks and delays proactively to drive resolution, and building scalable, repeatable processes and lightweight project management systems. The role involves partnering with BizOps, functional leads, and executive sponsors to translate strategic goals into executional plans, and coaching teams to adopt new ways of working to drive sustainable impact.
