Candidates should possess over 10 years of marketing experience, including brand strategy, content, PR, and performance marketing. Proven leadership in high-growth startup environments, ideally within media, marketplaces, or creator platforms, is essential. Strong storytelling ability paired with a data-driven mindset, experience hiring and leading distributed teams, and a deep understanding of marketing systems, tooling, and measurement are required. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator, sharp storyteller, and operator who can build a brand and team from the ground up, and has experience marketing to filmmakers, creators, or rights holders.
The Head of Marketing will own and define Filmhub’s brand and positioning across channels and markets. They will build and lead a high-performing marketing team across brand, festivals/markets, growth, content, community, and PR. Responsibilities include building a storytelling content generation system to create over 10 pieces of content monthly, establishing Filmhub as a distribution leader through industry insights, client stories, and content trends. The role also involves building a PR & Content strategy utilizing the founding team to establish thought leadership, defining marketing metrics and reporting systems, and collaborating with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure marketing is connected to business impact.
