Requirements

The Group Product Manager must have experience in defining and delivering end-to-end product experiences, including frontend UX and backend product logic. They should be able to build a unified product architecture and interface, develop cross-asset trading flows, and design crypto-style equity strategies. Responsibilities include translating strategic vision into scoped product work, writing clear specifications, prioritizing effectively, and shipping iteratively with engineering and design partners. The role requires acting as cross-functional glue, working closely with Development, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams. Additionally, the candidate must balance the needs of professional traders and casual investors, stay close to market trends, and be obsessive about user feedback and competitive intelligence.

Responsibilities

The Group Product Manager will own the end-to-end equities product experience, defining and delivering equities and tokenized equities across Kraken Pro and Consumer Trading. They will build a unified equities product, creating a seamless experience for users to access both off-chain and on-chain equities. Responsibilities include integrating crypto and equities trading by developing intuitive cross-asset trading flows, and designing products that allow users to engage in high-conviction, high-risk strategies like leverage, synthetic exposure, and new forms of yield within a compliant framework. The role involves unlocking equities as spendable money by enabling functionality for holding, sending, and potentially spending equities. They will drive product execution across frontend and backend, translating strategic vision into scoped product work, writing clear specs, prioritizing ruthlessly, and shipping iteratively with engineering and design partners. The Group Product Manager will act as the cross-functional glue, working closely with Development, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure product requirements and flows account for platform constraints and opportunities, balancing innovation and user experience with compliance redlines. They will also serve both Kraken Pro and Consumer use cases by balancing the needs of professional traders and casual investors, delivering differentiated experiences where needed and shared infrastructure where possible, and staying close to the market by being obsessive about user feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to constantly iterate.
