As an Investment Representative, you will execute manual trades in collaboration with our Trade Desk and support the Client Success team. Your role is crucial in delivering extraordinary client experiences that meet on-demand expectations while upholding compliance standards. You will support clients across various channels (Phone, Chat, and Web) and address complex client edge cases.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Build a strong foundation of knowledge in investments, personal finance, and stock trading, explaining these concepts simply and accessibly.
  • Execute regular client tasks, including manual trades, in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance the productivity and efficiency of trading processes.
  • Monitor, facilitate, and improve operational processes, working with the back-office to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Develop training materials and information for other Client Success teams.
  • Participate in feedback loops to contribute to new product feature launches.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 2 years or more of investment industry experience as an IR or in a similar role.
  • Mission Alignment: A desire to make a difference and play an integral part in reshaping the industry.
  • Attention to Detail: Extreme precision and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex concepts and work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Data Analysis: Comfort in digging through data to find and analyze desired information.
  • Analytical & Prioritization Skills: Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance tasks and understand issue scope and priority.
  • Technology Embrace: Flexibility to navigate multiple applications simultaneously and a passion for technology in financial services.
  • Finance & Investing Passion: A passion, curiosity, and energy for finance and investing, with a solid understanding of wealth management and trading, and the ability to explain these concepts simply.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Thrives in client-facing situations, prioritizing the client's needs and turning potential frustrations into positive experiences.
  • Bilingualism (French/English): Considered an asset (read/write/speak).

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
  • Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
  • Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
