Provides rapid, portable PCR testing kits
Visby Medical specializes in rapid PCR tests for detecting infectious diseases, providing results in under 30 minutes. This is much faster than traditional PCR tests, which can take days. Their portable testing kits are designed for use in clinical and mobile lab settings, making them easily accessible. Unlike conventional PCR equipment, which is large and complex, Visby's tests are compact and instrument-free, fitting in the palm of your hand. The company primarily serves healthcare providers in the United States, focusing on delivering accurate and timely results to improve patient care. By minimizing wait times for test results, Visby aims to reduce patient callbacks and follow-up issues, addressing a significant challenge in healthcare. Their revenue comes from selling these testing kits, which are increasingly in demand due to the current global health climate.
