Position Overview

Magic Eden is seeking a contract Product Management Lead to drive the evolution of its Token Trading product. As the #1 Bitcoin dApp and NFT marketplace, Magic Eden is expanding to become the leading fungibles trading platform. This role is crucial in shaping the future of token trading on Magic Eden, focusing on new user segments, trading formats, asset classes, and experiences. The ideal candidate is a crypto native with a passion for memecoins, DEXs, and perps, coupled with a strong track record of launching successful consumer products. This contract position has the potential for conversion to a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Drive the token trading roadmap for Magic Eden.
• Define product vision, roadmaps, and goals in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
• Identify opportunities for growth and innovation through strategic thinking.
• Define the vision for the future of token trading, encompassing new user segments, trading forms, asset classes, and experiences.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about memecoins, crypto industry trends, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Founders) to identify and prioritize new initiatives, features, and improvements.
• Develop go-to-market strategies in partnership with various teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
• Deep personal passion for trading onchain.
• Previous experience working on DEXs, perps platforms, or other trading products (Web2 or Web3).
• World-class PM communication skills and hygiene.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership in a hyper-fast-paced environment.
• Experience in marketplace optimization and growth.
• Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in an organized manner.
• Fluency with using data (tactical, e.g., A/B testing, and strategic, e.g., feature level estimations, sizing) to inform decisions.
