Requirements

Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to government contract requirements. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management is required, with at least 3 years specifically managing platform products within a B2B SaaS environment. Proficiency in understanding APIs, SDKs, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is essential. Prior experience with products for air-gapped, low-connectivity, or highly secure networks, including on-premises government systems or secure defense networks, is preferred. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter capable of taking initiative and suggesting improvements, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Platform Product Manager will own the Game Warden platform end-to-end, defining and driving its product vision and strategy to meet the needs of software providers and government customers, including international expansion. This role involves developing strategies for secure, efficient, and repeatable deployments across various complex environments like U.S. government networks, classified systems, and international defense sectors, utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. Responsibilities include balancing platform innovation with delivery by managing the product roadmap, prioritizing new features against contractual obligations and customer requirements. The Product Manager will gain a deep understanding of global government and defense environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, sales, and customer success, and conduct market research to identify unmet needs and define product requirements. Additionally, the role involves measuring and optimizing platform performance, security, and user experience through KPI monitoring and feedback analysis, and effectively communicating complex technical and compliance concepts to diverse audiences.
