Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 3 years of experience in training, operations, or leadership within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry. Strong facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with proven ability to deliver training programs that drive performance. The role requires strong organizational, planning, time management, and project management skills with attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with Learning Management Systems is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strategic thinking, strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and be able to travel up to 75% of the time.
The Field Training Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence by equipping franchisees and their leadership with the knowledge and tools to implement and sustain training systems effectively, ensuring adherence to brand standards and best practices. This role involves planning and implementing key brand training initiatives, developing strategic partnerships with field leadership, supporting franchise business reviews, and delivering leadership development training virtually and in-person. The manager will also partner with franchisees to develop engagement programs, collaborate with cross-functional partners on training initiatives, and support new restaurant openings and franchise onboarding. Additional duties include new restaurant training, testing, video/photo shoots, acting as a subject matter expert, managing G&A expenses within budget, and completing administrative functions in a timely manner.
