Position Overview

Dandy is revolutionizing the dental industry by simplifying and modernizing practice operations through technology. We are seeking a highly consultative Field Trainer for the Northeast region to lead impactful, in-person training sessions. This role is crucial for accelerating early clinical success with Dandy’s digital dentistry solutions, focusing on helping dental practices confidently adopt intraoral scanning and digital workflows. You will act as a trusted clinical advisor, guiding clinicians, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders to adopt new technology, improve clinical performance, and achieve practice growth. This position combines clinical training expertise with operational execution and post-training analysis to deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Clinical Coaching

• Lead high-touch, in-person trainings to support doctors and staff in adopting intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
• Coach teams based on live observation, reinforcing best practices and adapting in real-time to meet practice goals and maturity levels.
• Drive early case submission during training by removing blockers, reinforcing clinical urgency, and building confidence immediately after training.

Clinical Advisory & Post-Training Analysis

• Partner with clinicians and practice leaders to reinforce scanning habits and support early adoption.
• Monitor outcomes in the first 30 days and identify targeted coaching opportunities to accelerate success.
• Share field insights to inform scalable resources, improve onboarding, and strengthen future trainings.

Practice Readiness & Operational Alignment

• Assess readiness across clinical workflows, team structure, and equipment to proactively identify blockers or risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right resources, messaging, and tools are in place before training.
• Customize training strategies based on practice size, complexity, and clinical goals.

Requirements

• Clinical Training Experience: 3+ years of experience delivering clinical training in digital dentistry or dental technology, with strong familiarity with intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 85% to deliver in-practice training and support.
• Proximity to Travel Hubs: Located near a major airport to support frequent national travel.
• Leadership Presence: Comfortable partnering with senior leaders, clinicians, and staff across roles to influence behavior and drive adoption.
• In-Person Agility: Comfortable operating independently in the field, adjusting plans in real-time based on practice dynamics and needs.
• Operational Expertise: 3+ years managing training logistics, readiness assessments, and multi-practice coordination in fast-paced environments.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to adjust tone and approach based on the audience.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for helping practices succeed, with a solutions-oriented approach to onboarding, training, and adoption.
