Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License (Class A or B with applicable endorsements preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Capable of obtaining a CDL (Class A or B with applicable endorsements)
  • Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card
  • Driver Application for Employment, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Completion of required forms: Driver Disclosure and Release, Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement, FMCSA Certificate of Awareness, Driver Certificate of Violation, Driver Statement of On Duty Hours, Road Test, Copy of Driver’s License, Copy of Medical Certificate
  • Some travel required (20%-80% depending on division & location, including overnight stays)
  • Preferred: May have industry specific license(s)

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites
  • Proactive system troubleshooting
  • Works with mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance
  • Parts inventory management
  • Anticipate and correct safety issues (Company and Customer owned equipment)
  • Direct interfacing with customers
  • May be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers
