  • Professional capacities in communication, self-motivation, collaborative and independent work, and leadership skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering such as Chemical, Bio-medical, Mechanical, or Electrical
  • Customer service experience
  • Student leadership experience and/or academic project work

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 12-month hands-on Apprentice Training Program, partnering with an experienced Field Service Engineer
  • Perform various instrument service processes and procedures, including solving issues, implementing repairs, and completing preventive maintenance on medical and laboratory instrumentation
  • Work alongside expert FSEs to evaluate and perform planned maintenance inspections
  • Engage in regular customer communication, provide timely resolutions and follow-ups to build positive customer relationships and understand customer needs
  • Provide additional service solutions based on customer needs
  • Document repair actions and complete timely reporting
  • Maintain an approved parts inventory
  • Handle spare parts, tools, and test equipment, ensuring calibration
  • Actively participate in training, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities
  • Align with Environment Health and Safety requirements
  • Commute daily to multiple customer locations in the assigned region (e.g., Boston, MA), including some overnight travel for customer service and training sessions
