Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of work experience, including experience teaching groups in-person about new products or services, ideally software. They must be confident in presenting, relationship building, and meeting new people, with strong people skills and a highly proficient networker. Comfort with cold calling to set up educational events and a results-focused approach are essential. A vehicle for travel to events is also required. Knowledge of or experience with home building or remodeling businesses, experience marketing software, and experience with event planning & execution are ideal.

Responsibilities

The Field Marketing Associate will build awareness and demand for Houzz Pro software among local home building and remodeling communities through in-person education and events. Responsibilities include promoting Houzz Pro software, educating home builders and remodelers about its tools, setting up local educational events, working with local building and remodeling association chapters, and leveraging personal networks. They will generate affinity for the Houzz and Houzz Pro brands and generate leads for the sales team through personal outreach and community relationship building. This role involves collaborating with the Houzz industry marketing team for support on social media, marketing materials, and event execution, and requires approximately 75% travel.
