Requirements

Candidates should possess a genuine passion for Bitcoin and the Lightning Network, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities, both externally and internally. They should be comfortable tackling open-ended challenges, formulating hypotheses, iterating quickly, and measuring impact to guide future actions. Experience presenting about Bitcoin or Lightning at events, working with emerging markets, and familiarity with developer communities are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Lightning Evangelist will actively engage with the global Lightning community, including developers, founders, end users, and enthusiasts, to grow and connect them with Lightning Labs. This role involves attracting new developers to the Lightning Network, organizing community calls, supporting existing customers, and sourcing new potential customers by connecting them with relevant ecosystem participants. Furthermore, the Lightning Evangelist will contribute to business development efforts, understanding business goals and facilitating the success of customers integrating Lightning solutions.
