Requirements

The Field CTO requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience in a technical sales or leadership role, with expertise across digital delivery platforms including cloud management, automation, DevOps, security, enterprise infrastructure, and application and data architectures. Strong communication skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, are essential, as is the ability to translate client challenges and build relationships. Experience from employment across at least two of the following areas – customer IT leadership, manufacturer presales, and partner/channel presales – is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Field CTO will cooperate with AHEAD Sales and Presales leadership to manage technical go-to-market and account strategies for key clients, provide valued leadership through go-to-market and enablement activities, and cultivate partner relationships. They will also keep an eye towards emerging technologies and trends, contribute to marketing programs, enable others within the organization, write white papers and blogs, assist the solutions development organization, present at industry events and executive briefings, and consult for AHEAD clients. The Field CTO will be responsible for demonstrating confidence while maintaining a personable and likeable professional persona.
