Requirements

Candidates should have 7+ years of experience selling to Federal Accounts and proven success in a customer-facing sales role proposing enterprise solutions at all levels of a customer organization. A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (Excel), and other CRM tools. Demonstrated selling ability to Federal Government Accounts, experience collaborating with customers and technology partners, comfort working with multiple decision-makers, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to travel as needed are also necessary. Experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients is essential.

Responsibilities

The Federal Account Executive will develop and manage a sales pipeline to move strategic transactions through the sales process, generating revenue by selling the Cohesity solution and working with channel partners. Responsibilities include penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, closing business, defining and implementing sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota, and developing and presenting proposals to customers. The role also involves driving account strategies and coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
