Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of progressive enterprise sales experience, with at least 5 years specifically selling to federal government agencies within a SaaS company. A strong understanding of the federal government sales cycle, federal procurement landscape including contract vehicles, compliance requirements, acquisition regulations, and partner ecosystems is essential. Experience working in the federal government and building/leading high-performing sales teams are considered advantageous. The role requires access to technology, software, and data controlled or restricted under U.S. law.

Responsibilities

The Director of Federal Sales will develop and execute a comprehensive federal go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth and market share. This includes building and managing the federal pipeline, identifying and capturing opportunities across priority agencies and contract vehicles. The role involves establishing strategic relationships with federal decision-makers, systems integrators, and technology partners to accelerate deals. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with federal procurement and cybersecurity regulations, serving as a subject matter expert on the federal market, influencing product strategy, and collaborating with internal teams to differentiate Procore's platform. The position will manage contract execution, ensure customer satisfaction, and, in the future, hire, lead, and develop a federal sales team.
