As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling our platform to a set of named target accounts, engaging with C-suite and director-level executives. This role is crucial for our continued success, requiring someone who can drive sales and inspire a team.
A Day in The Life
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Enterprise customers, managing onboarding, ongoing account management, and relationship/revenue growth.
- Identify and communicate customer readiness levels, requirements, schedules, and risks to ensure forecasted revenue is met or exceeded.
- Act as an internal expert for specific industry verticals.
- Build and maintain long-term, successful customer relationships through empathy, active listening, and resilience.
- Demonstrate sound business judgment, evaluate alternatives, and make successful recommendations.
- Negotiate effectively both before and after contract signing.
- Craft and deliver professional presentations at all organizational levels.
- Manage the execution of significant or complex contracts, including intake, renegotiation, and scheduling.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
- Travel as needed to customer sites and meetings.
Requirements
- 6+ years of business development or account management experience.
- Fluent in German.
- Fluent in French is a plus.
- 6+ years of experience supporting a technical product/service with customers.
- Proven ability to build long-term, successful customer relationships through empathy, active listening, and resilience.
- Significant technical knowledge of design software or related technology.
- Ability to synthesize diverse requirements and propose effective solutions, products, or features.
- Demonstrated sound business judgment, including evaluating alternatives and making successful recommendations.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Experience in the technology industry is strongly preferred; experience selling SaaS products will also be considered.
- Willingness and availability to travel as required.
