Join the Snowflake team and help build the future of the AI Data Cloud! Our enterprise sales team is expanding, and we are seeking a seasoned, outcomes-focused Acquisition Account Executive. This role focuses on selling to business and technology stakeholders in the Malaysia market. You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities, strategically pursuing new logos and focusing on solving prospect business pain points and delivering agreed-upon business value-driven use cases. This is a unique opportunity to enable customers to deliver high-visibility, high-impact projects that impact organizational growth and strategic business value. Success in this role requires autonomy, accountability, and an openness to new perspectives. The team has a deep curiosity to learn and is always looking for innovative ways to meet and exceed customer needs.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of sales experience with consistent success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
  • Sales Focus: Proven success selling technical solutions and SaaS into the enterprise market.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrated experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within:
    • Public Cloud
    • Data Warehousing
    • Business Intelligence
    • Data Science
    • AI/ML
  • Sales Methodology: Familiarity with a solution-based approach to selling and experience managing a complex sales process.
  • Skills: Excellent presentation and listening skills, strong organization and contact management capabilities.
  • Market Knowledge: Experience and expertise in MEDDPICC or similar methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Strategically pursue new business opportunities in the Malaysia market.
  • Customer Engagement: Understand Snowflake’s product and ecosystem. Conduct discovery calls and facilitate customized demos and presentations.
  • Advisory Role: Act as a multi-threaded, trusted advisor to customers, understanding their existing and future business and IT roadmap to drive Snowflake adoption.
  • Partner Collaboration: Work intimately with Snowflake partners and service providers within the Malaysia market to deliver value and accelerate customer value realization.
  • Opportunity Qualification: Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Sales Execution: Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities with accounts in your region.
  • Quota Achievement: Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy and regional sales plan.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership, engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.
  • Brand Advocacy: Build and represent the brand and company, explicitly defining and executing sales plans to meet strategic goals.
