Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in full-cycle Enterprise direct sales, specifically selling quantitative and highly analytical products or solutions. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle sales of technical Customer Engagement solutions is required, along with demonstrated success in outbound prospecting for new Enterprise accounts in BFSI, Airlines, Retail sectors and building executive-level relationships. A proven track record in developing strategic relationships, driving innovation, and growing new pipeline within the Enterprise account space is essential.
The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring new customers and meeting net new bookings quotas. They will identify customer business and technical requirements and align them with Twilio's Authentication & Security, Marketing & Promotions, and Sales & Customer Service solutions. This role involves collaborating with internal teams like Finance, Legal, Deal Desk, and Operations to negotiate contracts, presenting complex contractual, technical, and financial details to prospects, and balancing competing priorities to manage multiple projects and deals simultaneously. The Account Executive will also drive cross-functional synergy with marketing, partners, product, and finance for territory strategies, act as the voice of the customer to product and carrier relations teams, establish subject matter expertise in the Customer Engagement industry, and maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in Salesforce.
