We are seeking a driven, high-achieving Account Executive to join our extraordinary team in a fast-paced, multifaceted industry. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our business forward by efficiently implementing sales strategies, exceeding revenue targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining an accurate forecast, and collaborating with channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to effectively move strategic transactions through the sales process.
  • Generate revenue by successfully selling the Cohesity solution and collaborating with a network of Channel Partners.
  • Penetrate accounts, engage with decision-makers, and close business consistently.
  • Define and implement sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop and present proposals to customers, showcasing the Cohesity hyper-converged infrastructure solution's ability to meet their business objectives and establishing its value.
  • Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to achieve quarterly and annual closing goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven success in a customer-facing sales role, proposing enterprise solutions at all levels of a customer organization.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated selling ability to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions (SLED).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience collaborating with customers and technology partners.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), and other CRM tools.
  • Comfortable working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the role.
  • Proven experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $236,000.00 - $295,000.00
    • Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations. Therefore, a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered.
  • This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission, and/or equity grants.
