Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software, with a preference for open source, APIs, and/or infrastructure software. Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills are essential, along with a motivated and results-oriented approach. Experience with fast-growing startups is a plus.
The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for selling Kong Enterprise Platform to enterprise customers, meeting individual quotas and objectives, taking ownership of their book of business, including understanding customer buying criteria and processes, determining the appropriate sales motion, ensuring pipeline accuracy, and working leads to closure. They will provide account leadership, contribute to win/loss analysis, and travel to customer sites as required, while also performing additional tasks as directed by their manager.
