Requirements

Candidates must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a related field. A proven track record managing production-grade environments and leading technical initiatives without direct reports is essential. Proficiency with GCP, AWS, or Azure, along with expertise in Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools for automated environment provisioning is required. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, along with scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash is necessary. Practical knowledge of monitoring and optimizing cloud expenditures is also important. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and design reusable configurations for rapid deployment. They will implement automated processes for provisioning, scaling, disaster recovery, and routine updates while minimizing manual intervention. This role involves driving cloud-related initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and advocating for best practices. The engineer will deploy observability solutions to maintain high availability, implement strategies for resource management and cost optimization, and integrate security best practices into infrastructure designs. Continuous improvement through staying informed about emerging cloud technologies and proposing updates to enhance system robustness is also a key responsibility.
