Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will lead and manage the delivery of a remote UK-based engineering team, fostering a strong engineering culture and empowering team members. Responsibilities include partnering with Product Management for execution excellence, providing technical leadership for scalability, performance, and innovation, and recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineers. The role involves supporting career development through coaching and growth plans, setting clear direction, making architectural decisions, and acting as a technical sounding board. Owning system reliability, uptime, and evolution, contributing to technical decisions, upholding engineering standards, and leading project planning and execution are key duties. Continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and collaboration methods, along with monitoring engineering metrics, are also part of the role.
