Requirements

Candidates must have over 7 years of SDLC experience and a strong understanding of data engineering principles. A background in leading data engineering teams and a proven track record of architecting and implementing scalable data platforms are essential. Experience with cloud technologies, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and AI/ML solutions, including Generative AI, is required. Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Director of Engineering will lead the Data Engineering organization to design and deliver scalable and intelligent data platforms. This role involves architecting and implementing data ingestion pipelines, powering reporting, advanced analytics, and AI/ML solutions. Responsibilities include developing and executing a multi-year data and platform strategy, championing an AI-first culture, establishing data governance, and collaborating with senior leadership. The Director will also define best practices for data pipelines, ensure platform reliability, partner with Scrum Masters and the Data Insights team, and lead, mentor, and grow the Data Engineering team.
